
SQUAD PROGRAMS
Based in Vancouver, Squad Basketball Programs meet players where they're at in terms of skill level, from beginner to elite. The program focuses on elevating players into competent, high IQ team oriented players, elite performers and capable leaders. Our teaching and mentorship provides guidance and pathways to success on the court and beyond. With a focus on fundamentals and basketball intelligence, we see our players from all skill levels achieving and growing as individuals. Our goal is to foster continual growth, preparing players to take advantage of the many opportunities this beautiful sport provides from travel to making a High school, post-secondary or provincial teams.
Our Youth programs run year-round, while our HS programs run in the Fall & Spring/Summer.
In addition to weekly training sessions, Squad Club Team Players also have access to attend all High Performance Training Sessions and Squad Camps.
Players compete in leagues and other local & international tournaments.
SQUAD CLUB TEAMS
Our most comprehensive player development training program. Program consists of weekly team practices, fundamental training sessions, strength & conditioning, high performance training and local/international tournaments. For U10-U13 players this program starts after the Dream Hoops League concludes. Players from the Dream Hoops League will have an opportunity to tryout for the U10-U13 teams. These existing players in the program are considered priority and we do not recruit outside of the players already in the program. If a player decides to forgo their tryout invite then outside players will be provided the opportunity to tryout for the U10-U13 teams.
SQUAD YOUTH PROGRAM: DREAM HOOPS LEAGUE
The perfect entry point into basketball and the Squad program. We encourage all our players interested in playing for our club teams to join this program first as club team priority is given to existing players in this program. For a period of 8 -10 weeks we train twice as much as we play. Players enter an evaluation combine and are evenly selected to teams which compete every weekend in the Dream Hoops League U10-U13 Divisions. Program includes 2 weekly training sessions. All games are held at 1 location, the St Pats HS gym, no entry fee, great family environment to learn and foster a love for the game.
Coach John’s HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING (Fall)
High performance training regimen for high performance athletes led by Coach John. Program is designed to prep players for their school seasons. Players learn core and advanced fundamentals and on-court techniques to compete and perform at their full potential.
SQUAD RISE & GRIND HIGH PERFORMANCE TRAINING
The Rise and Grind Program, led by Coach Ivan, is designed to help athletes build a strong foundation of essential skills that will set them up for success. With a focus on mastering the fundamentals, this program gives athletes the tools they need to excel in basketball. Coach Ivan leads high-energy training sessions that emphasize technique, discipline, and mental toughness every Sunday morning. Whether you're a beginner looking to improve your skills or an experienced athlete aiming to develop further skills, the Rise and Grind Program offers a supportive environment for growth.
